imagePRO scanner pricing has been reduced across the board up to nearly 40 percent on some models. The popular 40-inch imagePRO Ci40 HD series scanners range from $3,995 for the monochrome model to $6,995 for the full color version – a difference of over 30 percent from the former retail prices. Advances in technology, reduction in the cost of materials and market competition are among the reasons for this dramatic price change. The quality and reliability of the imagePRO scanners have not changed and, in fact, have improved. For example, the 42-inch imagePRO Gx and GxT HD Plus series scanners have recently been upgraded with increased speeds – monochrome scanning up to 12 inches per second and color scanning up to 4 inches per second for the “E” series.
