Inkjet Printer

2003-Paradigm Imaging Group, a leading provider of large format
scanning and printing solutions, announces the Western Graphtec
JW1000 Inkjet Printer, available immediately. Paradigm Imaging Group
is the U.S. Distributor for Western Graphtecs' growing scanner and
printer line.
Western Graphtec, a leading
manufacturer and supplier of precision imaging products for the
signage, graphics, and computer-aided design industries, now offers
the JW1000, with advanced inkjet printing technology and unsurpassed
print quality and speed. The advanced technology consists of a wide
print head, more nozzles per color, high resolution, and micro sized
ink droplets. Heaters placed at the end of each nozzle cause the ink
to fire straight down, producing precise and consistent dot
placement.

With a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi the JW1000 produces sharp
details, providing great benefits to graphic artists, CAD and
GIS engineers, photo labs, commercial printers, service bureaus
and sign makers. The versatile printer is suitable for multiple
markets and applications. In addition to superb output and print
speed the JW1000 is compatible with vector data format used in
CAD, CAM and AEC engineering. Because of the high precision dot
placement, the standard mode output quality is comparable to or
exceeds the best output quality of many other high-resolution
printers. |
The user-friendly printer
integrates a variety of features for ease of use and efficiency. The
media supply system allows various media widths and makes loading
and alignment simple. There is also an optional media take-up system
that allows overnight-unattended operation of long print jobs. The
JW1000 includes an automatic ink priming system and a smart chip in
each ink tank that remembers the ink level allowing the user to
remove the partially used tank to meet the requirements of the
current application. The partially used tank can be saved and
installed later and the printer will recognize the ink level and
resume operation accordingly. The printer is available in 24"
and 36" model sizes and includes a one-year onsite warranty
service.
