Fast, High Resolution Scanner for Color Scans up to 25 x 18.5″

Image Access’ recently redesigned wide format flatbed scanner WideTEK 25-600 is setting new standards in performance, quality and ergonomics. This very fast and high resolution color scanner combines user friendliness, production-ready design and uniquely compact dimensions in a new class of scanners. State of the art illumination, using bright white LEDs, guarantees long lifetime and best scan results at a very low noise level in spite of the high speed. The cutting edge camera technology, consisting of a dust-protected, hermetically sealed camera box holding CCD systems using a patented stitching procedure, delivering a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi.

The WideTEK 25-600 scans the full bed (DINA2+, 25” x 18.5″) at 300dpi color in less than three seconds— two times faster than the closest competition. The closest competitor has a smaller scanning area but measures a hefty 130cm, 50” in width which is almost 2 times more than the WT25. The revolutionary 3D scanning mode opens many new opportunities in the printing and industrial inspection markets. The 3D scanning mode captures the texture of surfaces so perfectly that the scan on a screen looks like the real thing.

The WideTEK 25 can scan just about anything: from business cards to diagrams in A2 format, books, newspapers, maps, construction drawings, bound documents and more. The scanner needs less than three seconds to scan the largest format of 25*18.5″ in a brilliant quality. Its compact size and integrated walk up scanning software make it the ideal solution for reprographics, copy services, press clipping services as well as in universities, libraries, architectural, engineering and construction offices.

NEW! Backlight Unit for X-rays, film, negatives and more!

The WideTEK 25 brings you an even higher return on investment with the addition of the new WT25-BACKLIGHT option for scanning transparent material of all kinds, like X-rays, glass negatives, 35mm microfilm aperture cards, cutout stencils, sepias and film. The optional backlight unit replaces the standard scanner lid. It is easily assembled and users can scan with or without the backlight, depending on the source material requirements, by simply switching the light on or off. The unit can be purchased separately for users who already own a WideTEK 25-600.

Walk up Scanning For Output to FTP, SMB, USB, email and Mobile Devices

The user operates the scanner either with a standard internet browser or alternatively, via the built in touchscreen. Via our new application for mobile devices, Scan2Pad; you can also operate the scanner using your iPad, iPhone or Android tablet or smartphone and save the images to your mobile device. Color mode and brightness of the document can be selected before the scan and page splitting enabled. Scan2Pad enables direct creation of PDF files, automatic recognition of document size, selection of scan parameters such as color, greyscale and black and white; and of course, the excellent image quality you are accustomed to from all Image Access scanners.

An external monitor connected to the scanner can be used for image control or to modify the scan parameters, without the need for a client PC. The integrated walk up scanning software makes the scanner a truly shared device. Using the easy to operate touchscreen, you can print the scan, send it to any directory in the network or via email, to upload it to the FTP server, or to save it to the USB memory device. Simply walk up, scan and store or send the image.
